Off to a great start
Hey Guys,
Auditions are off to a great start! So far, each city has proven to have a few incredibly strong contestants, and of course the “crazy crazies” (who make the show so much fun to watch). Adele’s “Chasing Pavements” seems to be a popular song choice for auditions. I enjoyed hanging with Victoria Beckham and Mary J Blige who each brought something special to the panel based on their experiences as superstars!
Back on the homefront, Cobra Starship’s album Hot Mess debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 last week (www.myspace.com/cobrastarship) and my singles “Good Girls Go Bad” and “Hot Mess” are getting tons of film and television placements so look out for them! Jessie James’ self titled debut hit the charts at #23 (Billboard 200) (www.myspace.com/jessiejamesmusic.com).
I’m really excited about the acts I had a hand in signing over at Warner Bros Records. Check out Jason Derulo’s “Whatcha Say” (www.myspace.com/jasonderulo) and Iyaz’s “Replay” (www.myspace.com/iyaz) burning up the iTunes charts!
Also, David Hodges (on Warner Bros Records/ Reprise) has been touring with Daughtry all month and his debut EP “The Rising” is now available on iTunes (www.davidhodgesmusic.com). We went to see David and Chris Daughtry perform in Los Angeles on Wednesday night and they killed it! David is a great songwriter who co-wrote Evanescence’s “My Immortal,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Because of You,” and Chris Daughtry’s “What About Now.” It’s great to see David stepping into the spotlight where he belongs!
There’s some really good new music to listen to … off to dallas now!

Sounds awesome! So glad your having fun doing auditions. It must be hard to do them without Paula, but I love how your still finding a way to enjoy yourself and the people you’re getting to work with.
I think Its great how many of your songs are shooting up the charts! It seems everytime I turn around another one of your songs is on the radio or someone around me is singing it! I’ll have to check out David Hodges EP, he is very talented, but your so much better! When are we going to see the Kara DioGuardi EP, or better yet ALBUM! haha Your such a talented singer, it seems a shame to let that go to waste!
Well I hope you have fun in Dallas =] I’ll be sure to check that lyric section out!

At first when I found out that they added a new judge to American Idol I was totally pissed. The season started and I still wasn’t happy about having a new judge.. nothing against you personally.. just the idea of a new judge. As the show went on I liked you more and more and now I’m SO happy they made you a judge. When you sand in the auditions when bikini girl was auditioning you blew me away. I had no idea that you can sing, and boy can you sing. I was laughing so hard because you made her look like a total ass, sorry for my language
- and when she was talking back I wanted to slap her, she drives me insane. Anyways, yeah I’m so happy they made you a judge, you know what you’re doing and you have a beautiful voice not to mention you write amaaazing songs! You’re so talented. I really hope to meet you someday. Thank you for being a judge on AI 
Even though Paula’s gone, which I’m still so pissed about, I’m glad we still have you. Thank you for writing amazing songs and I hope that you’ll sing your own songs in the future. You should write a song for yourself and release it as a single!! That would be amazing! I love you Kara! <3

Congrats on your songs topping the charts! (Which of your songs don’t top the charts?) =)
I think you should follow David’s example and step into the spotlight too! Like ‘kara1fanxxx3′ said, you are such a brilliant talent, and shouldn’t let that go to waste.
I’m totally bummed that Paula is gone, so yeah I don’t think I’m gonna watch idol anymore. Don’t get me wrong, your amazing, but paula was part of the starting foundation, and she is the majority of the show’s heart. Good Luck on idol! and seriously, you should think about making an album, I bet it will be on top!
